Welcome to Our Secondary School

At Albesta Academy, our Secondary School program is designed to prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow by offering a curriculum that meets the requirements of the Federal Ministry of Education, as well as state, local, and international examination bodies. Our goal is to produce well-rounded individuals capable of excelling in any educational or work environment, both in Nigeria and abroad.

We emphasize practical experiences that complement classroom learning, ensuring that students gain real-world skills alongside academic knowledge. Junior Secondary School

The Junior Secondary School spans the first three years of secondary education. At the end of this stage, students sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) conducted by the Lagos State Ministry of Education and the Federal Government (NECO). The curriculum covers a broad range of subjects, ensuring a strong educational foundation:

English Language, Mathematics, Civic Education, French, Yoruba / Igbo / Hausa, Social Studies, Business Studies, Basic Science, Creative & Cultural Arts (Fine Art, Drama, Music, Craft), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Religious Knowledge / Moral Instruction, Basic Technology, Physical & Health Education, Agricultural Science.

Senior Secondary School

Senior Secondary School (SSS) Following success in the Junior Secondary stage, students advance to Senior Secondary School, which covers the next three years. The curriculum follows both Nigerian and British standards for Senior Secondary Education, preparing students for a variety of local and international exams. Students are offered core subjects alongside elective courses that align with their future career paths.
